Visitors to Longreach can easily imagine what life was like for Australia’s pioneers thanks to the range of authentic experiences on offer. Visitors can ride in a galloping Cobb & Co stagecoach, gently cruise along our river and look up in awe at a canopy of stars; surrounded by the timeless landscape that inspired Australia’s iconic bush poets. They can enhance their understanding further at the world-class museums, Qantas Founders Museum and Australian Stockmen’s Hall of Fame, dedicated to the stories that forged the region’s place in Australia’s history.
